Company Doctor Program
Healthy Planet, Healthy People
Living sustainably also means taking care of our physical, mental and social well-being. That’s why we make sure that healthcare is accessible to our staff. Every member of staff at Aguas Claras has access to a company doctor in Puerto Viejo. For a nominal fee of just US$1.50 per month, all healthcare consultations are free of charge for them and for their children.

We seek to create opportunities for professional growth for our staff at Aguas Claras. For us, that starts with a sense of job security. Our 100% Costa Rican staff are employed year round and never laid off during low season as is the case with many resorts. We run cross-training courses and promote internally whenever possible, and many of our staff members have been with Aguas Claras for years.
