Nature Conservation
Our Greatest Inspiration
Immersed within a vibrant color palette of a thousand greens, nature inspires us endlessly. Here our sandy shores are pristine and our jungles buzz with energy and life. Ours is an ecosystem in harmony – just the way we like to keep it.
Cahuita National Park
A Clean, Pristine Caribbean
Twice a month, many of our staff members volunteer to clean up and maintain one of the principal nature trails at Cahuita National Park. The park protects over 55,000 acres of marine area which serves as a nesting ground for sea turtles and houses the largest coral reef on Costa Rica’s Caribbean Coast, as well as almost 3,000 acres of coastal land.
Beach Clean-Ups
Doing Our Part for Puerto Viejo’s Greatest Asset
For even the most seasoned of travellers, our local beaches are nothing short of impressive. Their warm sands stretch for miles, and the palm-fringed backdrops give them a raw beauty. To keep them this pristine, every day we clean up the beach in front of the hotel. Once a month we volunteer with the community to clean the nearby beaches too.
An Ecosystem in Harmony
“Nature played a great part in our experience since the grounds welcome all sorts of birds. We loved watching them from our seats while having breakfast and listening to them around the pool while sipping fresh juices. Divine.”
